Starting in March 2017, Share to Shape Our Capital was the largest consultation ever undertaken by the City of Perth.
Over 40 days, more than 1900 citizens shared over 10,000 ideas that will help shape the development of Perth over the coming decade.
These ideas were collated into the Share to Shape Strategic Community Plan Synthesis Report, and distilled into goals and strategic objectives to guide the development of City of Perth’s Strategic Community Plan.
The City of Perth is required by the Local Government Act to conduct a major review of its Strategic Community Plan every four years, setting out a vision for the next decade.
Under the City of Perth Act 2016, the Council is required to consult more broadly with Western Australians about the future of the capital city.
